Your support is critical to ensuring continued safe, affordable
winter fun on the Mt. Washington Valley Ski Touring's network of trails.

Trail maintenance is an ongoing task for this non-profit foundation. Volunteers join us every year in the fall for our Annual Trail Days. They come prepared for a day outside with lunch, gloves and long-handled loppers to help us clear trails, cut and remove the summer's growth, along with many other tasks.

There always seems to be a need for heavy work to rebuild bridges, excavate trails to provide for better and more efficient grooming, and anticipate the wear and tear that may result from high water or extreme winter weather.

This year was no exception. Fortunately November weather continued to be mild allowing for the replacement of a bridge on the 1785 Inn Trail. You will see from before pictures that the decking on this bridge was in desparate need of replacement to be functional for this season. This repair turned into a complete replacement of footings and new decking. This was all made possible by many hours of volunteer labor, and equipment and supplies offered as a donation or at reduced rates.
