COMMENTS/OPERATIONAL NOTES ...

Grooming Tuesday morning will be in Whitaker Woods only.

Trails expected to be groomed in Whitaker Woods include; Vista, Whitaker, Gradual, and south Powerline, Bancroft and Swenson. Those trails will have their skate platform renovated and tracks set where conditions permit. Upper Lucy, lower Wellinghurst and the Powerline on the north side have bare sections and are not groomed. The Starlight Trail off Powerline to the Starlight lodge is now bare in sections and is not groomed.

Trails north into the Intervale network were last groomed either on Saturday or Sunday and include the 1785 and the Hayfield. No trails north of LA Drew have been recently groomed due to bare sections in sunny areas. The Intervale trail north of the 1785 & Pasture trails is no longer open and groomed and will be closed for the season unless we see significant new snow arriving soon.

Please respect the work that goes into grooming and maintaining these trails. Please do not walk on groomed ski trails. Only use the groomed walking trails in Whitaker Woods (yellow trail signs) for bare boot walking. All skiers and snowshoers are required to display a trail pass.

Trail passes are available this season at the Touring Center at Ragged Mountain Equipment and at the ticket window at the Whitaker Meeting House most days. Ski, snowshoe and bike rentals available at Great American Ski Renting Co. just a short walk, or ride, from Whitaker Woods.
